Privacy That’s Spot On

Eyeware collaborates with AMD to power new downloadable PC app for Radeon™ users with head and eye tracking

WHAT IS PRIVACY VIEW AND HOW TO ACCESS IT?

AMD Privacy View enables private screen viewing on laptops and PC monitors. The app was published May 23, 2022 (release notes) with the AMD Radeon Software: Adrenalin Edition 22.5.2 release. To access AMD Privacy View please upgrade your Radeon software to the latest version. Inside the app open the Display tab. In the Display Tools section, a button allows you to download AMD Privacy View. If you can’t see the button, then your device is not supported for this release of AMD Privacy View. Please feel free to send us a message (ideally including the model number of your device) or simply sign up for the newsletter above and we’ll keep you updated on future releases.

STILL CAN'T ACCESS IT?

AMD Privacy View does not work on OEM-based systems (HP, Dell, Lenovo, …). It also works only on AMD platforms. If you still want to try it out, we have developed an adaptation of the AMD Privacy View app called Eyeware Sense that allows you to test similar features on any device. Please note: Eyeware Sense will offer the best performance for AMD platforms.

AS SEEN ON

“One of the most unique features that AMD revealed is called Privacy View, a way to hide on-screen information from onlookers while the laptop screen remains easily visible to the primary user. Partnering with Eyeware Tech SA, a company that specializes in head and eye-tracking solutions, AMD’s Privacy View can darken the screen beyond the region of the user’s gaze, as if the user’s eyes are creating a spotlight effect.”

EYEWARE TECHNOLOGY

Past iterations of eye tracking technology involved hardware-based solutions that are too expensive for widespread adoption or integrated webcam-based solutions that are not reliable. Our patent-pending and platform-independent technology for webcams and 3D cameras bypasses the need for specialized hardware so that AMD and other companies can integrate reliable and cost-effective head and eye tracking features into consumer applications like AMD Privacy View.
